# setCinematicCameraEnabled (Client)

> Turns the cinematic's camera on or off. While off, playback does not move the camera and the shots of `setCinematicCamera` are ignored.

- **Platform**: MY Multiplayer (MYMP)
- **Kind**: Lua Function
- **Side**: Client
- **Category**: Cinematics
- **URL**: https://wiki.mymp.gg/en/setCinematicCameraEnabled

## Syntax

```lua
bool setCinematicCameraEnabled(cinematic cinematic, bool enabled)
```

## Parameters

| Name | Type | Description |
| --- | --- | --- |
| `cinematic` | `cinematic` | The cinematic. |
| `enabled` | `bool` | `true` for the cinematic to direct the camera. |

## Returns

`true` if it changed, `false` if the element is not a cinematic.

It can be called during playback; turned back on, the camera follows the shots again.

## Example

```lua
local intro = createCinematic("cinematics/intro.cine")
setCinematicCameraEnabled(intro, false)
playCinematic(intro)
```
