> Widens or narrows a vehicle's tyres.

- **Platform**: MY Multiplayer (MYMP)
- **Kind**: Lua Function
- **Side**: Shared
- **Category**: Vehicles
- **URL**: https://wiki.mymp.gg/en/setVehicleWheelWidth

## Syntax

```lua
bool setVehicleWheelWidth(element vehicle, int|string|table wheels, float width)
```

## Parameters

| Name | Type | Description |
| --- | --- | --- |
| `vehicle` | `element` | The vehicle. It can also be a parent element: every vehicle below it changes. |
| `wheels` | `int\|string\|table` | Which wheels: a number (0 front left, 1 rear left, 2 front right, 3 rear right, 4 onwards the extra wheels, -1 all), the wheel's name (`wheel_lf`, `wheel_lr`, `wheel_rf`, `wheel_rr` or an extra wheel such as `wheel_lm1`), a group (`all`, `front_wheels`, `rear_wheels`, `left_wheels`, `right_wheels`) or a table of these. |
| `width` | `float` | Factor of the tyre's width, above 0. 1 is the model's width. |

## Returns

`true` if the element given is a vehicle that has every wheel asked for. Also `false` when the vehicle already has 16 tuned wheels.

1 puts the wheel back to normal. Called on the server, the change reaches every player.

## Example

```lua
addCommandHandler("pneulargo", function(player)
    local vehicle = getPedOccupiedVehicle(player)
    if vehicle then
        setVehicleWheelWidth(vehicle, "rear_wheels", 1.4)
    end
end)
```

### Note

A factor that is not above 0 is an error.
